The Table Maker often has a source of Baltic pine, which works perfectly with extension tables. The reclaimed nature of the timber
gives the table character, but the 25 -30mm thick pieces also allow for ease of movement when converting the table into a larger one. When the table is together, it gives the look of a thicker top, but when out, perfectly balanced.
